- About our Reunion Committee
It went by much too fast. Three days of getting re-acquainted with one-another, sharing stories of how life has been and showing off just like in the old days. The Reunion came and went in a flash but we managed to get some photos along the way. Here are links to a small representation of the whole adventure.
Thursday turned out to be the busiest day of our reunion weekend. It started at the RUHS Alumni House on campus for our first look at who was going to be there for our reunion. Next was a tour of the campus and a lunch in the Student Union. At 3PM came the 2019 Graduation Ceremonies where our class was recognized as the honored 50 year grads. It was quite an honor indeed, time marches on. After a day of reconnecting, we all met-up at the Crowne Plaza for a mixer to end the day.
Friday consisted of an early morning golf game, then a tour of Redondo’s Heritage Court houses, the Morrell House and Historical Museum. Evening came to the most awaited event, the Reunion Reception. Held at the SòL Room in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, we had food, dancing, speeches and raffles. See how much fun it was.
It was the last chance to get together as a group so they met at the old poopdeck in Hermosa. We all had such a blast the past week, many hoped it wouldn’t end.
Over the past year the reunion committee gathered to plan the perfect weekend. Committee members Al, Laurie, Susie, Terry, Gayle, Kim, Jules, Chris and Kathy. Helpers Jim, Anita, Jan, Joy and Terry. Here’s a look at some of the fun times they had together..
